Microsoft intends to merge Xbox One and Pc into Cross-platform ecosystem

Microsoft wants to merge both Xbox one and PC gaming Platform under one tree by using UWAs (Universal Windows Applications). At the event in San Francisco, Phil Spencer unveiled its plan to bring Cross platform ecosystem.

In other words, they are trying to build single platform which would be compatible with both Xbox one and PC. As Microsoft has done it earlier by making Windows 10 compatible with Xbox one so it does not seem to be arduous for Microsoft to merge both Xbox one and PC platform.

If Microsoft will make it what they are claiming, Xbox games would be playable on PC. Since Xbox games would not be bound to any console hardware and even if new hardware comes out in the market, Xbox users will be able to play all these games.
